Hi Guys,

Need to turn a bath round so the taps are at the other end, have no problem running the new copper to that end of the bath, my question is about the waste....

Its on the groundfloor, with concrete floors, so the current waste goes back to the current tap end wall, turn left through 90 degrees and flows through a 32mm pipe across the bathroom wall into the stack...

My question is can I lift the new bath slightly (was thinking about 50mm, the current one is installed quite low, all the tiles will be coming off so no problem with these) then run the extended waste along the length of the bath and into the current pipe?

Just wondered if this will cause any problems?

Cheers

That should be no problem.

Only that the bath waste should be run to the stack in 40mm.

I did once before on a old cast iron, the water not draining well so I used a car jack to lift the bath and stuck wood under feet, relevel it, draining away ok. :D
