I am looking to run a spur from the aerial cable on the roof to a first floor bedroom.
Is there a special fixing that I need and will it have any effect on the existing cable signal to the TVs at ground level.

every time you add another impedance load(TV) you degrade the incoming signal so if you decide to spur off it's best done through an amplifier.

or a splitter..then you will lose half the signal
. So go down the amp route
