What was supplied with the bracket?. I have fixed mine with 6 70mmxNo8 screws in standard plugs. Hasn't fallen off the wall yet :)

sharp No 10 masonary drill bit
red rawl plugs
2 inch No8 screws

when you have done it, pull your self up (just 1/2 an inch) from where the bracket meets the wall plate, if it moves more longer screws, if it doesnt it will be fine
