Exactly. They're not making it compulsory to buy American goods. I can't think of anything made in America that I have knowingly bought.

I have read that American beef is quite different. Richer flavour because of the diet and maybe also the hormones. Although, we might only end up accepting imports of beef which is certified hormone free. The details haven't been agreed yet.
