Ultra DV 50 Boiler

i have a Potterton Ultra DV 50 boiler and the pressure seems to go high above 2bar when the heating turns on (norm 1.bar). When it is off the pressure drops very low below 0.5 bar. I filled the system and vented it but it still does this. The pressure does not get released after 2 bar so i turnthe boiler off. Should the pressure relief valve turn on and lower the pressure itself ?
Any idea what it might be.
