Is there an easy way to replace a single radiator with a double, without having to increase the distance of the existing pipe-work from the wall? Is there an extension attachment which will accomplish this link to the existing radiator valve?

Most radiator mounting brackets can be used two different ways to give two different spacings off the wall. You might be lucky with your new radiator, and be close enough to get the existing radvalves to mate up with the radiator. I assume the radiators are the same length??

If you can't get them to line up using one or other orientation of the mounting brackets, then you will have to drain the system and solder in a short extension piece.
