Hi all

This UPVC door is between my kitchen and garage. I want to use it eventually on my single brick garage external wall. Does it require a different sill? If so, what do I need to get?

Thanks in advance

Don't look like it has a cill just a low Ali threshold. You may find the door may catch on the floor once you have fitted it( depending on the floor levels) if this is the case just get a stub cill to put underneath the door, normally 30mm high

Will the threshold be fixed to the casing when I remove the full door/casing? If I get a stub cill, will the ali threshold sit on it or do I remove it.

Yes the ali threshold is part of the frame and yes it would sit on the new cill, God mentioned a stub cill but they're only 85mm deep and would offer no overhang on any brickwork, much better to use a 150mm cill, bear in mind though that sitting the existing frame on a cill will of course make the overall height ot the frame 30mm taller

Ah but i say a stub cill as it will be a internal door so assume the finished floor level will cover the cill or most of it
