Hey folks, can anyone please quickly respond i need a little help. i'm doing my am2 and i have got inspecting & testing tommorro. The question is about the IR test, I have to test;
Main isolator, DB, Motor and lighting circuit.
I know how to test and i will remember to take fragile sensory equip such as neons, SRCD, etc and ensure that all breakers in "on" position. HOWEVER;
MOTOR - where do i test?? At motor connections or at 10A MCB?? Also when testing motor, should motor isolator be "on" to isolate the test to remote start/stop, through overloads and contacts?? However this means that i won't be testing much cable just either cable from MCB to isolator OR from MOTOR to isolator. Please anyone help as i may lose sleep 2nite over this. Thanks
