Good morning,

I was wondering if somebody could give me some assurance.

My husband has just drained all the water from our radiators and he is replacing 2 of them and been advised to put some system cleaner in.

So 2 radiators are off and the pressure dial on the boiler is on 0.

The hot water seems a bit colder than normal though.

I went to look to see if the dial had been moved and i noticed that the flange light and 2 others kept going out and relighting straight away.

with the hot water running:

Bottom light is green (the power?
Next up goes solid amber and is the tap light
Next up if radiator light and that stays off

Then these 3 light up in order, stay lit amber for about 10 seconds then go off, and then light up again in order, and this is repeated until the hot water turned off

Fan light
Gas light
Flame light

Is this normal for the boiler to keep igniting the flame every 10/15 seconds ?

Never really taken much notice of what the lights did before.

Water does still get hot i must say, just seems cooler than before
