Posting here after midnight is not the best way to stay warm during very cold weather.

Better to get a system serviced during the summer!

Try looking underneath for two flat screwdriver slots you can turn 90* until pressure rises to 1.5 Bar. Then turn both back to off position!

is that on the flow and return?
i have those plus gas and a pressure valve.
on the flow and return they are both in line with pipe at mopment

only moved in june 1st and had it tested then

got to stay up and get it going or family will freeze in teh morning!

Try looking on the underside of the boiler!

We charge double time after midnight!

i appreciate all your help people out there.

no filling loop on boiler, now looked furtehr have one in airer , whihc i ahve used and boiler pressure back up, but will not fire up, tries but doesnt make it!

displays fault code 33.
which, of course, is not on the standard list

What's the boiler. It's probably a Vaillant not a Valiant, but as it says in the permanent sections, we need the model.

right chaps, sorry for typo

VAILLANT THERMO COMPACT,
no number on the boiler, but i have 5 bed, so suspect largest 628?

it will not fire on c/h or water now. pressure is about 1.3

That was the royal we. Some of us don't charge double time, at any time.

The fault will be S33 which normally means air pressure switch is not working it is fitted at the top L/H side (use instructions) tap it or lay it on its side tempory to make it work, will need new one fitting.

Can also be faulty fan, broken venturi in fan.

the system pressure is ok, that shows f22 fault
