VW Passat front shock absorbers

Hello

I have a 51 plate tdi sport passat saloon which has done 96k miles. I am having a problem with the shock absorbers or something on the front. When going over a bump they squeak slightly, both sides do this. Nothing feel different on car and the car drives nice with smooth ride and no pulling or anything.

Anyone give me an idea on what it could be?

p.s, not loud sqeeke, only heard if windows are down

Its probably the anti roll bar bushes. In this weather they get hot and creak and moan. Squirt with some WD-40 will fix it.

The antiroll bar ,if you dont know what it is, will be a round bar about 15mm in diameter that runs between the 2 lower suspension arms. You'll see the rubber bush that they slide through, just squirt there.
