Wallpaper

Can anyone advise.
I have just wallpapered a room for a client. They have now decided they don't like it so want the room painted. Fine. its more work for me!
Can I put lining paper over the wallpaper or do I need to strip the old paper off. the wallpaper has a very slight sheen to it.

I wouldnt risk either to be honest..it might work it might not, the only way youll know is when its dry, and it will be too late to do anything about it then if you have grief..and trwice as hard to strip the paper.

Strip it and line it.
