Washing machine wont spin , going through every cycle but the drum wont turn , checked belt its ok & can turn drum freely by hand what else could it be, motor , brushes .please help

Not a machine I have serviced but came across this info may be of some help.
Old Indesit washing machines, with simple modules and a separate programme timer often suffer from printed circuit connection problems on the base of the module. Take off the module at the side of the motor and examine the printed circuit behind the connector plug at the bottom of it. It's common on these machines for one of the printed circuit strips to burn out there.
If you can't see anything wrong with it, there's not much else you can do. It could well be a faulty module but you'd have to risk wasting the money if it didn't cure it
