washing macine problem

Hi
I have a creda excel 1200 washer, i put some slippers in to wash, and it didn,t spin, now it won't spin it just looks like it continues the wash cycle until it stops, leaving the water behind in the drum, it was ok before i decided to wash the slippers :oops:

Any ideas as what I can look at before i replace it
