Water gushing into toilet pan

Modern toilet

Water is filling into overflow and running into toilet pan

The water is gushing

Opened cistern and noticed that the bottom plastic part of fill valve (marked) appears to have separated from the top part

What do i need to do to sort this?

Looks like the flush valve is faulty, replace it and push the fill valve back together:

Did all of the above and water from fill valve keeps flowing into the over flow pipe and then it gushes into the pan.

When the water gets to the top dof the overflow, water start spouting out the top of the fill valve

What could the issue be?

Your float height setting may be above the overflow. Can you raise the overflow or lower the float?

Got the job sorted

Popped the cap off the fill valve, replaced the washer with a new one and flush the fill valve as per the video and Bob's your Aunty

Just fortunate i picked up the fill valve and flush valve combination for a few quid more from screwfix
Well chuffed.. And thanks for all the help guys
