Had boiler repaired recently. They had to shut off the mains stopcock outside to do some repairs to the boiler, and since then the water pressure to the house has been abysmal.

Ive been outside to check it's fully opened at the mains stopcock and yes it is. But the pressure is so low now.

Any advice?

When you mean low pressure, are you referring to the hot water fed from the boiler or the cold mains?

Sounds like the tap might not be open properly, have you called the company and explained this? What repair was done?

They didn't close any taps in the house at all. Went straight out to road mains turned it off then repaired the heat exchanger and pump. Halfway through he plumbed in a tap before the boiler to isolate the feed in so we had some cold water in the house for our baby? Then went to open the mains outside. That then gushed water out of the boiler (assume because of some pressure) then he went back out turned the mains off and continued.

Came back and repaired boiler. Turned on mains and flow was much lower on cold and hot.

It was British gas home repair

Possible that the tap washer has jammed, need to call British Gas back out then, as it was fine until they touched it. I’ve only ever had to turn off outside to replace a filling loop where the internal tap was seized

So the low pressure was evident whilst the company's staff were still on site ? Why didn't you complain to them ?

British gas ? What makes you think they were involved ?

I wasn't home. Thought it was another issue but after speaking to my neighbours they don't have a problem
