Our builder put the 1st row of cavity wall insulation in yesterday and we did try and cover it up. However, due to the heavy rain this afternoon it has got very wet.

Will we still be able to use this or do we need to replace it?

Also, we laid the new concrete kitchen floor about 2 weeks ago, again this has been exposed to the heavy rain today, could this cause a problem for us?

Thanks

No and no, as in no worries whatsoever.

Cavity batts do NOT wick water.

A concrete floor laid two weeks ago will not even flinch at rainwater today. In fact, it will love it. Concrete loves water. Anything above 3 degrees that is.
