Hi, I have recently moved into a house that has just been built and im having problems with the central heating system. The tap pumps out water that is too hot to touch eventhough the thermostat is set at 45 degrees! Secondly, the water is constantly on even though the control panel clearly shows that the bloody thing is off! Any help appreciated. many thanks

Would agree with gcol - you will have faster respones by posting this in the Plumbing Section.

It sounds like the thermostat has gone for one thing. I would recommend getting it checked/fixed a.s.a.p or you are going to get a horrendous fuel Bill

Good luck

My telepathic abilities are telling me you have an s plan system with the hot water zone valve actuator sticking on.
