Guys,

I'm in the process of getting the stuff together to re-tile my bathroom floor. The previous occupants did a right old job and used the wrong grout - its all cracked and discolored and I don't think they have screwed any board down onto the floor before they tiled.

Going to lift the tiles tomorrow and see what mess is underneath there. The rooms tile area is only about 2M x 3.5M so getting the adhesive off should be manageable - but I expect it to be hard work.

I'm about to do a full repaint and gloss also - what should I do first? Tile - then paint/gloss or paint before tiling?

My thinking was to do the tiles first..but the new tiles are a charcoal gray and if any paint gets on em, that could be problematic. Whats the best way to approach this?

Cheers for any replies

John
