I am doing up a flat, and the fan in the toilet has worn out.

Its a large box on the wall, a centrifugal can I believe. The room is in the middle of a ground floor flat, so there is a long pipe to get outside.

Do I need to have another large box fan to get enough pressure, or will a reasonably flush fan do the job? I guess I need quite a high pressure?

Thanks

It needs to be centrifugal to deal with the pressure of long ducting really.

Thanks, are all centrifugal fans large boxes? Or are small ones available that are efficient (and more expensive)?

To be honest I've never seen a compact one, they're not very pretty.

Thanks for the guidance, a big ugly box it shall be!
