There sure is something about Range Rover drivers. Usually driven by pimps or ******.

When I get into the hot shower, and.....

.... swmbo decides it would be a good time to :

    Flush the loo
Fill the sink to wash up
    Put the washing machine on
Full the mop bucket to clean the floors

..... leaving me in a tepid dribble, instead of a piping torrent

    (we have a combi)

    You must be joking:mrgreen:

I iron (sometimes ; gets me peace to watch sport on telly;)), all the decorating and garden - shoite, washing up (except when I want a hot shower:evil:), hanging out the washing, most of the cooking - I love a sharp knife!
With the advent of cordless vacs, even that is no longer a chore......

Oh, and all of the hours on the side of football pitches (twice a week training at night at the moment, plus weekends), with second - born.....

People driving at dusk/night with only their parking lights on are damn annoying.

When you think you’ve done well negotiating a 10% discount off of a new coat for your missus at Hobbs on Monday and then get an email on Friday telling you they have a 20% off sale starting tomorrow. Even worse when the coat hasn’t been worn!

You need a storage combi (y). My brother had one fitted in his boiler room / shed - bloody awesome.

I have to concur with the Brigadier i find ironing therapeutic perhaps an OCD thing getting the creases out, although im the same with polishing, give me a metal thing and autosol or metal polish and ill buff it into oblivion so to speak.

When my partner and I hadn't been together long, he had to go into hospital for a minor op. He wanted to iron his cotton dressing gown to take, took him over an hour, one item! I've never seen him iron since.

And yes, I like to polish stuff too. I'd volunteer to do the brass decorations in a pub I worked in as youngster, quite satisfying, though a thankless task, it's not before they needed doing again :)

Ironing, yes very therapeutic but my wife says I'm too slow, (because every unwanted crease has to come out and wanted ones have to be razor sharp).
Polishing, yep everything buffed to within an inch of it's life.
Windows, I sacked the cleaner off because he only came about every 6 weeks if he didn't have something else on. Now the sparkle like new and get done every weeks.

I find those that drive Focus estates to be penny pinching tightarses. Each to their own I suppose.
