    You need more of them, since you can't work out the solution to this ridiculously simple question. Maybe thinned out blood would help more oxygen reach your brain :rolleyes:

    Your house is a heat sink. In the winter it takes time for all those bricks to cool down, and in the winter it takes time for them to heat up. Hence you think it is warm in winter and cool in summer. It is just tending to revert to mean air temp. Take out the loft insulation and it will get cold faster.

    Plus there is some solar gain through the windows.

    I think you knew that really.

    Even houses empty for years have more heat. Personally I think it comes from the ground. That's why mines are warm.
