Hi, new to the site and not sure where to post this one (hopefully its in the right place)
I'm in the middle of redecorating the entire house and am currently working on living / dining room. What i'm not sure of is which of the following to do first.
I am going to have real wood floors fitted so have removed all the skirting boards so they can be refitted again once the floors are fitted. What i'm not sure of is do i get the walls plastered then fit the skirting or fit skirting then have the walls plastered. i've been told different thing by different people and can see the advantages / disadvantages of why to do one before the other. so if anyone in the know can let me know which is the best way to do it then it would be much appreciated.

As noseall says but make sure you get a GOOD plasterer who can float a level wall or when you come to fit the skirtings you will have gaps everywhere.

And i do mean gaps
