Guys

I am looking at two wireless heater controls.

One is a Danfoss at about 450MHz and the other is a Honeywell at about 850MHz.

Am I right in assuming that the Honeywell extra MHz will increase the ability to transmit through solid objects i.e. internal walls and therefore make it more reliable?

Ta!

Sorry

Was this question too complicated for everyone?

Not really but more information is needed about the relative effective radiated power of the two units. That sort of radio use has too many variables to give an absolute answer as to which is best for your application.

But basically I would advise against radio unless there is no alternative to using hard wired controls.

I've used a few Danfoss wirefree stats without any trouble, but still prefer hardwired...
