Is it possible to conceal the fused connection unit for one of these inside the chimney section. The appliance will be used on recirculation mode, not extraction. If this isn't a good idea, any other suggestions for concealing wiring as far as possible ?

On my cooker hood the fused outlet is in the wall just above the adjacent wall cupboard, and is completely invisible from normal floor level. The cable enters the hood from the top.
