I'm going to be wiring up a Salus Rf thermostat to a Saunier-Duval combi and need a little clarification. As far as i can see the combi outputs 230v and the Salus receiver accepts 230v by default. The main terminal on the combi has N, L, thermostat, frost stat. there is another terminal with a link wire across (i'm assuming this could be 24v).

Am i right to take a live from the combi terminal-thermostat and run this wire to the S/L on the receiver. The receiver also needs a seperate 230v L and N.

If the link wire in the second terminal is for voltage free then what would i run to the receiver. it can be wired up volt free -by removing a link-as it has connections for NO (switched live-volt free) COM (volt free feed) as well as L + N.

Thanks. I'm normallly fitting Valliants/Worcesters where the receiver just slots into the boiler.

Not difficult. Wire from boiler to receiver...permanent L-N then HTG on to S/L via reciver thermostat connections not the volt free one!
