I'm wiring a single Neff electrical oven (B1641)
1) Do I need a special heat resitant wire from the mains to the ovens supply point socket?

2) From the oven connection do I need a special wire/plug combination going in to the socket.

The instructions mention H05VV-F mains connection cable
The oven requires 2.8KW supply and 13AMP fuse no higher.

Thanks

As under 20A I would take ordinary 2.5mm twin and earth from oven to flex outlet plate in wall. Then take cable in wall in oval ducting up to convenient point for fused switched connection unit with neon indicator.
Socket for fixed equipment not recommended.
If you use a higher rated oven later on it would be easy to route 6mm cable and replace connection unit with 32A switch.
