Hi. I have 2 identical wall light units:

    https://solislux.eu/en/product/wall-lamp-ceramic-sigma-mini-sl-0229/

They're nice looking units but come with no instructions at all as to wiring, and the bulb holders are not anything I recognise.

    They look like this:

And the connection at the back looks like this:

There are no other items, and clearly the connection is going to have normal lighting circuit wiring, but I am guessing there's a connection I wire to, and insert into the back of the socket. I could just shove the wires in holes, but nobody is going to think that's a good idea.

I've tried ringing the manufacturer, but no joy.

If anyone recognises this kind of socket, and whether there's a standard item to wire and plug into it, I'd be very grateful to hear about it.

    Tnx in advance.

Cant tell from the pic, but a lot of those types of lamp holder just use a push fit terminal. you just push the wire in the hole and it is held by an internal spring of some sort.

Yes, strip 10mm of insulation away and just push into those terminals.

If it's an E27 or E14 (screw-in) lampholder, make sure that the neutral (black or blue) cable goes to the screw sode of the holder, with the red or brown cable making contact with the tip of the lamp.

    Instructions are a legal requirement.
If the manufacturer can't or won't supply them, return the products for a refund.

Those terminals as push fit once only types, intended for solid core wiring to be connected to them during manufacture of the finished product.
Not intended for connection to the installation wiring.

and the insulation will probably have a temperature rating too, rather than ordinary pvc.
