wobbly mixer taps

Probably a daft question. The mixer tap in my kitchen has come lose after i fitted it about 6 months ago. Fitting it wasnt a problem, but now the access is very restricted to get to the nut. Its the small brass nut about 10mm ish thats on a piece of threaded rod attached the bottom of the taps, with a large metal washer to clamp it to the stainless steel sink. Is there a small version of a tap spanner avaliable or something easy to use to get at the bugger? (Cant use a socket set as theres too much threaded rod protruding.
