I\\\'m laying some reclaimed woodblock flooring & have some smallish gaps between the block which I want to fill with a sawdust mixture. What should I mix the sawdust with? I have seen several liquids you can buy specifically for the purpose but are these any better than PVA or woodglue? TIA.

Yes they are, they evaporate quicker to get a better result.
