Hi, just recently had our lounge replastered and new skirting boards and picture rails put up. The skirting is MDF, the picture rail is wood. Both are secured with screws. I want to paint them gloss white.

Is there a preferred filler that can be used to fill the screw holes, and to cover the cut marks on the front of the skirting in the bay, prior to painting?

Many thanks in advance.

Buy some Red Devil Ready Mixed Filler Beeline One Time 1 Ltr & Fill slightly proud, then leave to dry overnight. Then rub down. You can get it at a B&Q Wharehouse.
