hi i am having problems with above combi boiler,it supplies hot water and central heating ok ,but when the cold taps are turned on and quickly off or the downstairs toilet finishes filing up after flush,the sound of the pump on the combi drops and sometimes it sounds to cut out completly and re- ignite and run again,the system does not overheat and the water presure s ok and the heating pipes dont bang.
COULD ANYONE HELP PLEASE ?

You could try fitting a non return valve
