Howdy all...

United utilities where doing some works outside a couple of days ago, which I presume resulted in the water being turned off. Last night the radiator indicator light was flashing (instructions say ignition locked) after an hour of messing with the dials the boiler fired up and no problems (central heating & hot water back on), although this morning I had to top up the pressure, since then water has been leaking from the overflow?/drainage? pipe outside. All radiators have been bled (loads of air in them) but its still leaking…..

Any advice before I call an engineer?

Not really. It's the pressure relief pipe which is leaking. There's some background stuff in the FAQ section under "boiler pressure problems", and others.
