i have a worcester 24cdi 2 years old
the DHW rate has dropped to 5lts per min. is this a common fault with these boilers and is it easy and cheap to fix, or hard and exspensive.

What's the flow like from your kitchen cold tap?
Are you in a hard water area?

The classic cause of restricted flow is scale in the secondary heat exchanger, but two years is a bit soon. It isn't hard to take it out and have a look. The restriction could be somewhere else, but I haven't heard of anything in particular - worcs boffs may know different!

If you decide to replace the heat exchanger I can sellyou a new one for half the new price.

there is a filter in the diverter valve assembly which is normally the first thing to block up....needs to be drained first though. you could also try adjusting the flow adjuster on the dv with a screwdriver, it turns about 1/4 of a turn check the manual. If you open it full and don't get your 9 lpm it's a draindown
