Anyone else seeing this in their areas?

Over the past few years, I'm seeing on a relatively frequent basis young idiots, often with faces covered, darting about on motorbikes (scrambler type things) that I suspect aren't insured, taxed etc ;)

Was driving home a week or so back, at night, and out of nowhere a couple of neds appeared on such a bike, riding on the main road, no lights on, dressed in black.

The other day I was driving along and one appeared from a gap in hedging, on the pavement.

Shouldn't generalise however I'm assuming at least some of them are up to no good, maybe transporting drugs around and the like.

It seems to be a relatively new phenomenon.

I dread to think how they behave on their yachts.

I couldn't help smiling. Laughing to myself. You're from Fife. That says it all.

Thinking of what you've said. Thinking of what I was like as a kid, living there. Then, thinking of what I might have been like if I had stayed. So many of my friends and me would have been one of those bike riders.

They're probably just youngsters who haven't got past childhood pranks. Don't hit them. They'll probably turn out okay as they grow older.

Fixed it for you.

Some of the things I did when I was young scare me even now, just thinking about them.

They are probably not motorbikes but off road electric triles bikes called suron. Not road legal, so no numberplate no helmet
, just a balaclava.

, just a balaclava.

Nothing inside worth protecting if the scuzzers on the local keinsill estate who race about on these things are anything to go by. Probably making express 'special' deliveries. Rozzers just overseeing an increase in their numbers, like anything else that's illegal and antisocial these days.

do you mean 'not internal combustion engines' if its an electric motor then its a .....

loads in Edinburgh, usually wearing covid style face masks, maybe they are immune compromised the mask to protect from germs and the motorbike to quickly escape from anyone sneezing - or may be they are just criminals ?

This happened on the Ringlands estate in Newport, young kids buzzing around on motorbikes and e scooters. Whilst they were partaking in drug running they were also becoming a monumental pain in the ar*e with thuggish yob behaviour to the general public.

The police used drones to track them back to their homes and then raided their homes confiscating the modes of transport and drugs.

Don't know how long it detered them for though!!

Shame police numbers were cut really.

Allowed a growth in crime which is difficult to get on top of.

Nothing to do with numbers. They can't be overstreched if they have time to trawl the internet and police people's social media posts. Their proprities are wrong and all the experienced coppers are retired, leaving inexperienced officers.
