Zanussi turbosystem 1600

My zanussi washing machine occasionally flashes up a message E90 and beeps. This is not one of the codes contained in the troubleshooting book. If I switch it off and back on again, it continues the cycle and appears to work OK.

Any ideas what this message means?

Complex machines. E90 refers to problems with the pcb or communication between pcb and component.
E90 is shown to the user, an engineer can further probe the electronics to get another error code showing the actual fault.
