Today, Israelis are supportive of the cease-fire deal, but they also can’t help but ask why it wasn’t reached six, seven or eight months ago. The terms that were discussed and rejected at the time were nearly identical to the ones agreed upon now. Why was it necessary for additional hostages, soldiers and civilians to die before leaders finally took action?

If there wasn't a news blackout in Israel the people would learn how Netanyahu has done much to control the narrative to maintain his grip on power. He'd throw anyone under a bus - or armoured vehicle - to keep his fat ass in office.

The Irony is that Israels biggest supporters these days are from the right wing.
They have learnt the lesson that supporting Israel can be politically advantageous.
Whether that support is genuine, only time will tell.

Should any of the Palestinians forced out make their way to the UK, will the RW supporters of an enlarged israel welcome them as refugees fleeing persecution/genocide/ethnic cleansing?

Of course not, because to them the Palestinians are the 'untermensch'!

Ironic that this suggestion comes on the eve of holocaust day, so maybe those RW fanatics ought to reflect on history and apply it to the present day?

They probably won't get it though since they don't have the intelligence to realise that said history repeats itself, although the perpetrators may be different!

Palestinians and Arabs/Muslims in general, have always been regarded as inferior, Trump doesn't respect losers and to him, the Palestinians are losers.
 
Fact is no one wants the palistinians / Hamas / terrorists in there country ?? how ever an

option might be if they can make there way to Calais and get to the UK ???

Failing that perhaps the UK could organise direct transport to the UK

Going by the size of the pro palistinian protests

There are plenty of supporters here who could provide accommodation / finacial
