Zion and the Art of Armageddon

The Jewish mafia has finally jumped the shark:

The administration of United States President Donald Trump has imposed sanctions on United Nations expert Francesca Albanese over her documentation of Israel’s abuses against Palestinians during its war on Gaza. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced the penalties on Wednesday, accusing Albanese of waging a “campaign of political and economic warfare against the United States and Israel”.

Albanese, who serves as UN special rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian territory, has been a leading global voice in calling for action to end Israel’s human rights violations. Israel and its supporters have been rebuking Albanese and calling for her to be removed from her UN position for years. When reached by Al Jazeera, Albanese appeared to dismiss the US’s sanctions, saying she is focused on continuing her work.

“No comment on mafia style intimidation techniques,” the UN expert wrote in a text message. “Busy reminding member states of their obligations to stop and punish genocide. And those who profit from it.”
America is fast becoming the world's biggest rogue state.
The addiction to Zionism isn't only destroying Palestinians, its destroying what little democracy that still exists in America and Europe.

Did you expect a different response to your disgusting comment?
I agree, m.biking's comment that JohnD likes Greta Thunberg because she looks like a 12 year old was disgusting.
That's why it was reported.
Did you expect a different response.

Al Jazeera’s senior political analyst Marwan Bishara, speaking from Paris, highlights Israel’s plan to concentrate Gaza’s population in Rafah as part of ongoing forced displacement, calling it a government-backed policy amounting to war crimes. He emphasizes Defence Minister Israel Katz’s extremist views and suggests these actions reflect the broader agenda of Netanyahu’s coalition.

Bishara also criticizes the hypocrisy of Western governments, noting their strong stance on Ukraine but silence on Gaza, despite public opposition. He argues that this exposes a betrayal not only of Palestinians but of the West’s own democratic values.

Demolition operations being conducted by Israel in Gaza’s southern Rafah Governorate have been stepped up sharply, an investigation by Al Jazeera’s Sanad investigations unit has found. Israel’s defence ministry has announced a plan to relocate 600,000 people into what observers say would be “concentration camps” in the area in southern Gaza, with plans to expand this to the Strip’s entire population.

Israel’s defence minister, Israel Katz, told reporters on Monday that an initial 600,000 Palestinians living in the coastal al-Mawasi area would be transferred to Rafah, the location for what he called a new “humanitarian city” for Palestinians, within 60 days of any agreed ceasefire deal.

According to Katz, the entire civilian population of Gaza – more than 2 million people – will eventually be relocated to this southern city.

So, a ghetto within a ghetto on top of a disaster area is the answer to all this carnage. Genius.

An Israeli ultra-Orthodox party that has been a key governing partner of Netanyahu says it is leaving his coalition government. United Torah Judaism’s two factions said they were bolting from the government over disagreements surrounding a bill that would codify broad military draft exemptions for their constituents, many of whom study Jewish texts instead of enlisting in the military.

“After the government repeatedly violated its commitments to ensure the status of Jewish seminary students,” the Degel HaTorah faction said in a statement, its lawmakers announced “their resignation from the coalition and the government”.

Once it comes into effect within 48 hours, it will leave Netanyahu with a slim majority in parliament and a government that could now more heavily rely on the whims of two far-right parties. Those parties oppose concessions in ceasefire talks with Hamas and have themselves quit or threatened to quit the government over moves to end or pause the war in Gaza.

Well, let's hope the whole government falls apart and can be replaced with somebody who isn't completely insane.

Jonathan Freedland in the Guardian reports on a comprehensive New York Times investigation into the past 21 months, which methodically confirms with hard evidence what has long been assumed by most analysts: that “Netanyahu prolonged the war in Gaza to stay in power”.

...in April 2024, Netanyahu was poised to present a proposal for a six-week pause in the war to his cabinet. It would have brought the release of more than 30 hostages and negotiations for a permanent truce. The plan was written and ready to go. But cabinet minutes obtained by the paper show that, at the last minute, Smotrich, who, like Ben-Gvir, wants Israel to occupy Gaza and to rebuild Jewish settlements there, warned that if Netanyahu were to sign the rumoured “surrender”, his government would be finished. The proposal was quietly shelved and the war went on.

That was not the last such opportunity. In July last year, international mediators gathered in Rome believing the stars were at last aligned for a ceasefire. But, according to the New York Times, Netanyahu suddenly introduced six new demands that scuppered any prospect of an agreement. Earlier, Ben-Gvir had barged into the PM’s office, warning him not to make “a reckless deal”. Once again, Netanyahu put his own political survival ahead of the lives of Israeli hostages and Palestinian civilians.

Ilana Dayan described how Israelis were stuck for so long in 7 October, but now “October 8th at least has dawned on us. We finally can ask, and have to ask, the tough questions with regard to our leadership, with regard to the tragedy in Gaza, with regard to this endless war. History will judge the leadership, but it will judge us too.”

Well, let's hope the whole government falls apart and can be replaced with somebody who isn't completely insane.
Unfortunately the religious nutjobs hold the balance of power in the terrorist state of israel arrangement!

The Israeli election is in three months and there's no guarantee the far-right coalition will hold together - unless Netanyahu keeps the war in Gaza on-going indefinitely, of course.
