Zone Alarm Anti Spyware

I'm puzzled why ZA tells me I last updated the anti spyware on my system five days ago when I did it yesterday. Its ok with the dates of last scans and anti virus updates, but seems not to be registering anti spyware updates in the last week. Does anyone have any ideas why this is and does it really mean that my updates are steadliy getting out of date please?

Just turn off antivirus monitoring in ZA.

Thanks for the advice gcol - the problem seems to have gone away without me doing anything.

Since the ZAP anti-spyware bloating of ZA, I have had 3 false alarms, which if I had allowed ZA to automatically handle would have removed required system files... One was a dialer, yeah right, the BTYahoo one required for dial-up, I installed it and hash fingerprinted the thing.. no change.
I set no auto handling with any of the spy / virus progs, let them propose a prog, then google the name - like a good 'un ...
