The valve actuator is a direct replacement as described in the listing. It's easy to install, of course power to the system must be switched off but for an amateur (me) it's a straight forward job as long as you undo and replace one wire at a time. The actuator fits easily and worked first time with no problems at all.

I bought this head as a temporary fix until the whole system is replaced, so I didn't want to spend the extra on the Honeywell head. Initially it did not work correctly- it would not hold the valve open as the motor drive teeth kept jumping off the drive bar teeth. I managed to get it operating by bending some of the framework,so its doing the job for now, but it is not a satisfactory replacement part for the long term.

Fitted perfectly and got my central heating system working again, Left it a month before review and still great!

A lot flimsier than the equivalent Honeywell part. Works ok now, but jammed when I first fitted it on the Honeywell valve body. Had to ease off the mounting bolts. Hope it doesnt work loose!
