SIZES: Please be aware that many sizes shown are the industry standard sizes and may not be the physical measurement of the product. 1/2 & 3/4 threads for instance are BSP (British Standard Pipe) size which if measured would be 3/4" & 1" respectively. Flush valves stating 1.5" & 2" are the internal measurement of the threaded section and not the external measurement. It is your responsibility to check the product detail and item specifics where the information is provided. If in any doubt then please contact us in the first instance before placing your order.

    Just what I needed

    Very good replacement for a flush valve which stopped working. Only problem I had when fitting was that there was no washer to place between the cistern and the toilet base. Although not strictly part of the flush unit, you need one to do the job. Luckily I had one, but others may want to source one before taking their toilet to bits! If not fitting to a close coupled unit, the flush came with a fitting which I assume would fit to a connecting pipe.

    Good product. Easy to fit.

    This unit has been a good replacement for the original flush valve system. It was fitted in under 5 minutes without removing the toilet cistern. It can be fitted by twisting off the existing valve unit clockwise and replacing with this unit.

    A decent flush valve although disappointing that it didn’t fit on the existing Macdee cradle so had to do a full replacement

    This flush valve says that it is for 2" as well as 1.5".

    This is bad advice because it is a 1.5" (only), and if you have a two inch tank then you will not get a very good flush out of it with this valve.
