Eclipse have been making saw blades for as long as i can remember, there are cheaper alternatives around but these are of the high quality that i expect from eclipse. Unless you are one of the many users who get through blades at a fast rate due to pushing the blade through the work then these are recommendedGood blades at a good price.

Maybe I was unlucky in that I got a rouge packet but they don't seem to be up to Eclipse standard, they seem soft, ok on brass and Ally not so hot on steel for some reason? I used the last some some time ago and so bought a packet of Bahco which seem ok.

Eclipse junior hacksaw blades have always been my top notch for cutting metal etc. Seem to be a bit harder to source nowadays but nice to pick them up from eBay. Good price and free delivery great stuff 👍

I have bought cheap saw blades in the past that are only good for cutting wood ect , these blades are far better value just slightly more expensive but more useful for cutting most metals including mild steel. I am never going to buy cheap blades again .

You can't beat the eclipse junior hacksaw blades. Made from a tungsten alloy with fine pitch teeth, these things cut through just about anything. Also, they have shallow blade wave that makes for a fine cut, sometimes less than 0.6mm through carbon steel.
