An amazing little box for the money. Once you have inserted a decent memory stick it will pause live tv and record. The picture quality seems good but have to have the box volume on full to match that of the tv. You do need to use the loop to watch your tv while recording. Reactions are slightly slow to commands from the remote but overall it does the basics but without any frills.

The free view box gives a good picture but does make everything a little red. It's great at streaming live TV but forget recording on usb as playback is like an old videotape. But can't complain at price, you only get what you pay for ?

Freeview box is Great value for money
I can't afford a new television so I decided to upgrade my free view digital box instead. Great value for money and pulls more channels than my old one. It even records tv programs on a USB but playback quality not the best.

not all it's made out to be
It recieved many programs and the qualliy of the picture was realy good ,but it flshes every few seconds cutting off the picture and sound , I stopped using it will maybe try it again another time , was hoping to use it in a guests room with an older tv but dont look promising
