What on earth has happened to diynot.com? A couple of years back on a Friday evening, if I remember correctly, there would be lots of contributors on-line, introducing threads or contributing to existing ones. Tonight we have a handful of members replying to posts or introducing new threads, simply to pass the time. Has diynot.com reached and perhaps passed its sell-by date?

i agree..... this thing has argued up it's own backside because it is devoid of respect... most people haven't read the rules, let alone obey them! And egos seem to get in the way of good debate !

Perhaps every subject known to mankind has been covered?

Perhaps they're saving electricity to save the planet and to cope with the credit crunch?

Perhaps they're enjoying time with friends and family?

Perhaps they've gone to bed?

Most threads were spent slagging off joe-90 so now he's not around so much things have gone flat.

If you get a bunch of boring people and stick them in a forum then guess what? You'll have a boring forum.

Two years ago would be about when i first came across this forum and it didn`t seem quite so civilised as it is now, moz being a soap opera on his own, I`m sure viewers had their own favourites. Fine line the mods have in keeping a site interesting
