ravenheat white star spark problem

I have ravenheat white star not sparking, does the spark electrode come as one unit or do i have to buy everything seperate.With thanks Bri

It probably isn't anything to do with the spark electrode - lots of other things have to happen before the boiler will give permission to spark.
I am in widnes if you need an engineer to repair.

Al went through flow diagram given with boiler everything works upto point of "is there spark ignition" either yes or no go to no says change spark electrode. Was going to phone HRP to see how much new one. thanks Bri

my advice is get an R G I to check it out it sounds like the aps fault or the pipes or even the ventura but it is NOT a diy job
take up the offer with the other poster and get it sorted legally

Bri The flow diagrams are just about the least useful component of the MI's. It is important do test the components that work before the spark - ie fan, aps, lwps ect.

It is necessary to eliminate components using test equipment like a multimeter and digital manometer before you buy any spares. Although of course it could well be the probe.

I would hazard a guess that it isn't though.
