Thanks. Used Zinsser Bullseye 1-2-3, just about sprayed on ok through a 1.6mm conventional car paint gun without thinning - 2 coats of that and it looks great and really stuck on seriously well. Tempted to not even bother with the masonry paint now.

Hi Misterhelpful - i'm in a similar situation. I'm getting ready to paint the underside of my cement/asbestos garage roof which is still in reasonable condition. I figured i'd first hit it with PVA sprayed on to give it something to stick to and keep dust to a minimum, then a tub of dulux...
