Thanks very much, spoke to a few people and everyone seems to agree t&e will be fine. I have had wired up for a few days and after using it several times, the cable looks fine.

I have just purchased an electric oven with hobb. The manual recommends a 6mm2 sq cable which I presume to be flat t&e but I have heard that it may need to be heat resistant? Can anyone confirm this? There is one connection box on the back of the cooker for both oven and hobb and will be...
