dont no what ive done then did a 5-1 mix rubbed it all in and brushed it off spray it a couple of times its been realy hot yesterday in the evening it had dried but when i pushed it with my finger it turned back to sand and fell through the gaps :oops: could the cement be off or somthing

ive just finished laying my patio and path now i have to do the grouting what mix should i be using also can i just brush it in dry then spray with water after one more thing ive got loads of builders sand (orange stuff) left can i use it to mix

someone here sugested mixing cement in to it and weting it down to make concrete then laying the slabs on top this sounds easer than moving 3 tons again and ive no where to get rid of it. is there any milage in this or is it a no no ?

will it not carry on sinking as the builders sand gets wet

ive just finished a back breaking weekend laying 3tons of sand on to harcore then wacking it and half layed the paving slabs. ive come in to work and found ive used the wrong sand :oops: ive put building sand down instead of sharp sand how is this going to affect things will it just wash...

my company is making some point of sale units for keff and the units are going to germany & have to have european plugs fitted. Q: do we need to put a fuse in the unit as there is no fuse in the plug the unit is only powering flourecent tubes

Big thanks to all of you. I tried masona's sugestion switched off all rads except one and it seems to have worked :D :D :D it seems to have shifted the air lock one last question :where is the air now ive bled the rads again and got no air.

some one has just told me the rads might need ballancing is this correct how do i do it the valves are fully open at the moment!

the rad in the dining room takes a long time to heat up and sometimes not at all bizarrely enough where is the drain bung

yes they are 15mm pipes. The flow does get hot but the return does not. There is a drain bung ater the return,if i drain off the return pipe the rad gets hot but cools down later . so it does sound like a blocked pipe but i can blow down it (when drained) and its clear. :(

part of the reason of new valves was to check they were open (they are) I wondered about a air lock in the pipe going upstairs but don't know how to check or cure?
