    Will my paint dry?

Have painted our kitchen cupboards using melamine primer and 2 coats of oilbased eggshell. We left well over the recommended drying time before applying the next coat. The top units using Dulux are fine, but the bottom cupboards are painted in Crown which has given a slightly different...

Which cover? - Beetle must be covered.

Thanks David & Julie. Unfortunately I couldn't have one of these as it would take up the whole front garden! I have however discovered some super-tough, breathable material called "Evoltion 4" which is meant to be pretty good... :D

Email connection OK, but Explorer won't connect

Hi Ian, Thanks ever so much for doing that!!!! :D :D :D :D We'll turn Norton off for a while and see what happens. It only seems to happen every few days though, then seems to resolve itself of its own volition, and its frustrating not to know why. A bit worried about disabling...

Email connection OK, but Explorer won't connect

Hi, thanks for replying! Security: Norton Antivirus Internet Security - latest version. Firewall enabled. Windows XP Firewall disabled. Router: If you mean the brand name it's SMC, ADSL Barricade Router, SMC7401BRA. (Sorry, I'm a mac person) Where would we find the 'logs?'

Email connection OK, but Explorer won't connect

2 macs and 2 PCs on broadband via ADSL router and 2 hubs. Macs never have a problem :D and the 2 PCs were fine until we bought new ones. Since installing the new PCs (windows XP - networked pier to pier to each other), the internet connection keeps going down for a few minutes, then is...

Which cover? - Beetle must be covered.

A bit of a follow on from the tarpaulin question. I've got a Beetle that is being restored, but has just been evicted from it's garage. I need to keep it covered up because the window/windscreen seals etc. are not in place and water can seep inside the panels. Especially if snow thaws out on...

    Do I need to seal?

We've had to do loads of patching/filling on our walls (which are painted), and one wall has been replastered. Do I need to seal everything with PVA first or just the new plastered wall? Cheers :P

    Oil or water based?

Am going to paint our melamine kitchen cupboards, and would like to use a roller to avoid brush marks. I've got International's Melamine primer. My question is, should I use a water or oil based top coat? I want this to be very hard wearing. I want an eggshell finish if possible (not...
