Thanks guys - the leaflet says that the unit does not require any derating and it has an integrate temperature protection fuse (or somehting like that). I guess if the fuse blew it is not serviceable as it appears to be a sealed unit. Anyway, good shout re good quality bulbs...I will get...

Thanks for the prompt reply - your advice is spot on and kind of what I thought so happy you have confirmed this! Sorry about expecting folk to know it was 8 terminals - I just reckoned only folk that were knowledgeable / interested in the Warmup XSTAT would open this post. Cheers
